This moonstone necklace is so delicate and pretty. A little teardrop-shaped rainbow moonstone is centered on fine gold filled chain. These gems are known for their distinctive blue flash, and this one is no exception. The warmth of the gold complements these gems beautifully. Little moonstones connect the lobster clasp.

This necklace is adjustable from approx. 15 3/4" (40cm) to 17 3/4" (45cm) long, thanks to an extender chain at the back. Photo #2 shows the necklace at its shortest length; photo #3 shows the necklace at its full length.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
