Autumn Gemstone Necklace with Carnelian Hessonite Garnet Smoky Quartz

Who says you have to give up flowers once Autumn arrives? This pretty necklace combines my love of all things floral with rich Fall colours. I used orange carnelian, burnt orange hessonite garnet and chocolate brown smoky quartz to represent the upcoming Fall season. The flower look is created by wrapping these five gems carefully with gold-filled wire. Finished flower is approx. 19mm (3/4") in size. Little smoky quartz stones connect the lobster clasp.

This necklace is approx. 18" (46cm) long, but I would be happy to adjust it for you at no extra charge. Please leave desired length at checkout.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal.
