Aqua Chalcedony Necklace with Gemstone Teardrop Pendant

This chalcedony necklace says Summer to me. The smooth, dyed chalcedony gemstone pendant is an impressive 15mm in length, and is wrapped with a generous amount of gold filled wire. This stone seems to glow from within - it is beautiful. The pendant hangs from fine, gold-filled chain and little blue-green apatite stones connect the lobster clasp. So pretty!

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
