Long Wrap Necklace in Rose Gold with Abalone

This long wrap necklace combines all shades of teal, brown and burnt orange with warm rose gold. To bring out the colours in the abalone shell, I have paired it with chrysocolla, smoky quartz, hessonite garnet and tiger eye gemstones. I have also used freshwater pearls in two shades: teal and orange. The beads are placed at an equal distance all around the necklace for a streamlined look. Rose gold filled chain makes up the rest of this lightweight design, which is ideal for Summer. This lightweight necklace looks great all on its own, or layered with other chains for a casual, boho look.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
