Beer Quartz and Tanzanite Necklace

This beer quartz and tanzanite necklace features a unique colour combination: caramel brown and periwinkle blue. Lightweight gold-filled chain extends down to a trio of small tanzanite gemstones linked together in a line. At the very bottom is a gorgeous beer quartz focal. This dark gold gemstone is approx. 10x5mm in size, and is AAA quality. Small beer quartz gemstones connect the clasp section.

Necklace is approx. 16 1/2" (42cm) long, and the gemstone section extends down an additional 1 1/2" (3.8cm).

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
