Genuine Citrine Earrings with Amethyst Quartz and Trillion Gemstone

These citrine earrings combine golden yellow with grape purple - one of my favourite colour combinations. AAA quality citrine gemstones sit on top of amethyst quartz trillion-cut stones which are wrapped securely in gold-filled wire. The quartz are a much brighter purple than the photos show - they resemble genuine amethyst. The long trillion cut is unusual, and gives these earrings a modern look. So elegant!

Earrings are just over 1 1/2" (40mm) long from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the quartz.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal.
