Crystal Quartz Drop Earrings with Semiprecious Stones

A pretty pair of crystal quartz gemstones sparkle in these drop earrings. The crystal-clear stones are wrapped securely in gold-filled wire, and then suspended from elegant handmade earwires. Stones are approximately 9-10mm wide. This is a neutral pair of earrings that is perfect for everyday wear. These make great bridesmaid earrings too!

These earrings are approx. 1 1/8" (2.9cm) from the top of the earwires to the bottom of the quartz.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
