Abalone Threader Earrings in Gold

These abalone threader earrings are perfect for the beach. Abalone shell is known for its swirls of blue, green and gold, and these two beads are such a beautiful example. I have positioned these pear-shaped beads upside down for a unique look. The 14mm beads swing from cable-chain, gold filled threaders. A great choice for Summer.

Earrings are approx. 3 1/4" (82mm) long from the end of the threader post to the bottom of the abalone. Threader earrings may be worn at different lengths depending on your preference; these will hang approximately 2" from your ear, with the rest of the chain at the back.

Included is a pair of plastic clutches that you can thread onto the back of the earrings for added security.

Your jewellery will be packaged in a small gift box. Gift wrapping is available upon request.

What is Gold-Filled?

Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off. It is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewellery.
